Pengaruh Disiplin Kerja Dan Komitmen Organisasi Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil Pada Dinas Perindustrian Dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Lebak
Employee performance plays an important role in achieving organizational goals because the Lebak Regency Industry and Trade Service is engaged in services where employees have the responsibility to provide safe and comfortable services for the community, especially in the industrial and trade sectors. The problem found at the Lebak Regency Industry and Trade Office is that there are still several employees whose performance is not optimal. The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the effect of work discipline on performance, (2) the effect of organizational commitment on performance, and (3) the influence of work discipline and organizational commitment on performance.
This research is a quantitative descriptive study that calculates and analyzes the effect of work discipline and organizational commitment on the performance of civil servant employees at the Department of Industry and Trade of Lebak Regency. The population in this study were all Civil Servants at the Department of Industry and Trade of Lebak Regency. The sample used was 33 people as respondents using a saturated sampling technique where all PNS employees were used as research samples. The data collection technique used a questionnaire which was distributed to 33 respondents and the analysis technique used multiple linear regression.
The results showed that (1) there is no influence of work discipline on performance, (2) there is a positive and significant influence of organizational commument on employee performance, and (3) there is a positive and significant influence of work discipline and organizational commitment on employee performance. This study concludes that there is a positive and significant influence of work discipline and organizational commitment on the performance of civil servants at the Department of Industry and Trade of Lebak Regency. Furthermore, it is suggested to conduct further research with different variables, such as leadership style, work motivation, and organizational climate.
