This study aims to determine the effect of debt to equity ratio and total asset turnover on return on equity in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange for the 2017-2021 period. The variables used in this study are debt to equity ratio (X1) and total asset turnover (X2) as the independent variable (free) and return on equity (Y) as the dependent variable (bound).

Based on the hypothesis of this study, there is an influence between debt to equity ratio and total asset turnover on return on equity in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2017-2021. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method. The population used in this study are food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, totaling 30 companies. The samples used in this study amounted to 16 food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the 2017-2021 financial reporting period, using the purposive sampling method. Data collection techniques used are documentation and libraries. While the data analysis technique used is multiple linear analysis, t test, f test using SPSS 20 software.
